2+ Years of Hands-On Dog Training Experience
Reality K9 is led by Taylor Lenburg, a San Antonio dog trainer with a life long passion for helping misunderstood dogs. Before becoming a trainer, Taylor fostered dogs, volunteered in shelters, and helped rescue and trap strays.
After becoming frustrated with training approaches that did not create reliable results or happy dogs, Taylor found Foundation Style Dog Training. Taylor completed a two-year apprenticeship and certification through K9-1 Specialized Dog Training before founding Reality K9 with her husband in San Antonio.
Reality K9's purpose is to improve the human-dog relationship through training rooted in reality. Every dog is approached with patience, empathy, fairness, and respect.

Yes. We welcome all breeds and temperaments, and the Board and Train program includes behavior modification. The training plan is customized around your dog's behavior, learning pace, and the severity of the issues involved.
What will my dog learn during Board and Train?
Your dog will learn leash manners, sit, down, heel, come, place, leave it, and out. Training is developed for reliable on and off-leash obedience and proofed around real-world distractions.
How long does Board and Train take?
Our Board and Train programs typically run 4 - 6 weeks. The exact duration depends on your dog's learning pace and the severity of any behavior issues.
How will I stay involved while my dog is training?
You will receive daily photos and weekly training videos. The program also includes three go-home weekends and three free in-home lessons so you can practice and learn how to confidently handle your dog.
Is pickup, drop-off, and training equipment included?
Yes. Pickup, drop-off, and training equipment is included in the Board and Train program. Confirm availability for your address during the free consultation.
What does the results guarantee cover?
